At karpatkey, we're looking for a Fund Manager to lead the launch of our institutional initiative. You’ll be responsible for the overall management of one or more investment funds: from assembling and managing the team to defining and implementing the go-to-market strategy and overseeing investors’ relations, and everything in between.
Responsibilities
- Leadership: Create and manage a dedicated team, setting the right culture and structure to operate at scale, and working closely with the rest of the organisation to to achieve ambitious objectives;
- Sales: Design and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies for the funds, defining clear unique selling propositions, market segmentation, and overall sales processes to maximise AUM;
- Engage with the TradFi industry, attending webinars, conferences, and other events to network with industry professionals and gain insights;
- Investors Relations: Establish a robust investor nurturing process to provide updates, handle inquiries, and share educational content; and
- Compliance: Ensure all fund activities are compliant with regulatory requirements and internal ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree or CFA designation is highly preferred;
- Proven experience in Asset Management or in a similar role in investment management, preferably with established institutional relations;
- Passion for DeFi and ideally a solid understanding of dApps and the Ethereum overall ecosystem;
- Demonstrated ability to lead with vision, embodying both a hustler’s energy and a founder’s mentality;
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders;
- Very good command of the English language, both written and spoken (C1).
